Accessibility at our Museum
The Museum is fully accessible for visitors in wheelchairs and we are delighted to help anyone who requires additional assistance, just ask at the main entrance when you come in.
Wheelchairs
At the Museum’s main entrance we offer manual wheelchairs for visitors to use, free of charge, on a first-come-first-served basis, if however, you would like to reserve one for your visit please call us on 902-873-3773 or email us at info@ACAMuseum.ca
Please note: Whilst we will do everything we can to ensure your reservation is made, because of the limited number of wheelchairs, we cannot guarantee it.
Washroom Facilities
Washrooms are located in the main entrance hall of the Museum and both our sets of washrooms have wheelchair access as well as baby changing facilities.
General Access
All of our Galleries offer wide aisles allowing for easy wheelchair and pushchair access and we also have seating areas throughout the Museum for breaks during the course of your visit.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome at the Museum and water bowls can be requested from our main entrance reception desk.
