How Billy Mink came to visit The Atlantic Canada Aviation Museum
Billy Mink is on a mission
From his lair aboard the Nautilus, Captain Nemo has sent Billy on a number of missions taking him on a journey around the Maritimes in his series ‘Maritime Mink’. Billy’s mission is to gather the lost pieces of the legendary Wreath of Picea Rubens – when the red spruce wreath is re-assembled it will harness ancient energy from the deepest oceans…but all that is a bit too much for our character Billy, who prefers instead to simply visit amazing places and meet the crazy characters who live on the East Coast of Canada. Not to mention dining on some fine seafood whilst here and being the star of his own story!
Billy Mink is an endearing little character who loves nothing more than visiting historical sites and museums throughout the Maritimes. In his episode ‘Mink Jet,’ Billy visits our Museum and whilst here Billy finds himself in the cockpit of a CF-104 Starfighter airplane. He hops around all the amazing aircraft, exploring the history of flight, and Atlantic Canada’s aviation heritage and learning just what makes an aircraft fly.
Billy Mink’s adventure doesn’t end there, his arch-rival, Bobby Racoon throws a paper airplane at Billy and manages to escape with another branch of the Secret Wreath. Captain Nemo orders Billy to pursue him in the Silver Dart, and the adventure continues.
