My family had a great visit at the museum today. We met a gentleman in the back hanger who was a volunteer (I think with restoring and bringing in planes) and he was so interesting and informative. He knew so much about some of the planes and even remember when some of them were in use, we were lucky to have bumped into him. Great displays and so many planes for the amount of space you have.

What can I say other than an absolutely amazing place.

Very interesting displays and really some unique pieces of aviation history. This Museum is well worth taking a look at.

It was my first ever aviation museum visit in the Maritimes whilst visiting Halifax in the summer of 2010 and it certainly was a very pleasant one at that! So much so that I now call Halifax my new home and ever since being here I cannot stay way from this wonderful Museum.

A lovely visit to this very surprising Museum, a real hidden treasure with so many things to see and do in a relatively small space, my kids had a really great time exploring and they are not easy to entertain.

We were flying out of Halifax airport and had a few hours to spare before our flight, so we decided to visit the Museum, we are so pleased we did! We never realized that it was even there and to find out so many things about Atlantic Canada’s aviation history was a real treat. My husband loves anything to do with trains and planes - he could have stayed all day. We will definitely come back again when we next visit Nova Scotia

Took my grandchildren... not sure who enjoyed it most them or me!!!
A great Museum – well worth a visit. Thank you to all at the Museum for all your hard work in keeping this gem running and very much alive.Albert Pilbeam, March 7, 2017
I enjoyed my visit very much and had a great time. I came here in August 2016 and found that it wasn't crowded to much, which was lovely. The galleries are terrific and I think I took over 150 photos. Overall had a great time and will definitely come again, it is fantastic.

A really great experience and one I would recommend to any one who has an interest in the history of aviation – or even those who just love planes like me. A very enjoyable visit and I will visit again.

Having come across the Museum by accident I was surprised by the sheer amount and variation of the exhibits on display from the early fighters of WWI to the present day. A fantastic day out for anyone interested in aircraft and also free – but well worth leaving a donation to support them. I would recommend it to all.

Two volunteers working in the Silver Dart hanger made my 5 year old son's day with their special attention whilst other attractions drew the visitors. Along with the rest of the staff, the great signage and notices and the very professionally presented exhibits we were so impressed with the Museum and are looking forward to coming back again next year.

This fine Museum was a 'must visit' for me - a child living in London during WWII, with my dad in the RAF I was so excited to see things from across the pond. And I enjoyed it - thank you.

We came here on the last day of our vacation in Nova Scotia and we are so pleased we did. Even my wife loved it, the information about each aircraft was great and there is so much to see, we cannot believe how you can get so much in the Museum. Well worth the small voluntary donation we paid.

My son and I spent a great day at this Museum. We have a terrific RAAF Museum in Australia and whilst this is much smaller it was so worth visiting and we are so pleased we did! Both Museums have superb displays of aircraft and this one is run by volunteers – simply amazing. Keep it up!

Came for a 1st visit today with our 5 year old Daughter – she fell in love with Billy Mink and had such a great time not realizing how much she was learning whilst having fun. She loved having her photo taking in the flight simulator – too ages to get her out. The information for adults is really great too, I would recommend a visit to any one of any age.

Thank you for a really great visit to your lovely Museum. I am in a wheelchair and at first I wasn’t sure how easy it was going to be to get around but I was very pleasantly surprised. I was able to see and read everything. I don’t know her name but thank you to the young lady working there who took me round and gave me a personal tour. I would recommend the Museum to anyone.
