Your enjoyment at the Museum


Your enjoyment and safety, and that of all our visitors are the most important things to us.

We would therefore politely ask that you read and familiarize yourself with our terms and conditions of entry to the Museum before you visit us.

The Trustees and Staff of The Atlantic Canada Aviation Museum reserve all rights of entry to the Museum and its grounds, this also extends to refusing entry to anyone who is in breach of the following conditions:

  • All visitors are required to conduct themselves in a manner that allows others to enjoy the Museum and its facilities and to respect the needs of everyone including visitors and staff alike.

  • Unless specifically authorized to do so, by a member of staff, no display or artifact may be touched by any visitor at any time.

  • Anyone under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

  • Those accompanying anyone under the age of 16 years will be held fully responsible for their behaviour and actions.

  • Visitors are to keep to the areas set aside as walkways.

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the Museum building at any time.

  • Food and drink are only permitted in the outside picnic areas set aside for public use and never within any part of the Museum itself.

  • No animals, other than registered Assistance Dogs accompanying their owners, are allowed inside any part of the Museum building.

  • Photography, including filming, taking of digital images and the use of flash photography is permitted inside the Museum but solely for the purpose of personal use only. Anyone wishing to take any form of photography, image taking or sound recording for any type of commercial use, including but not limited to advertising, trade or other business use must seek prior written consent from the Museum, please use our contact form to do this.

  • The Trustees and Staff of the Atlantic Canada Aviation Museum endeavour to take all steps possible to ensure the safety and security of all our visitors, staff, buildings, grounds and artifacts and ask that all visitors ensure that nothing they do places themselves or others in danger or at risk.
